Overview:

Project was a design/build for a new three-story 21,000 square foot residence hall located on an existing landscaped area (corner of St. James Park and Chester Place) and a new four-level parking structure located on an existing surface parking lot (cul-de-sac at the corner of St. James Place and West 23rd Street).  The residence hall houses 115 students.  The parking structure accommodates 140 vehicles.  Since the new parking structure is not located on the campus, a pocket park and pedestrian pathway to the campus was also provided.  For both projects, the civil engineering included preparation of the final construction documents including a demolition plan, grading and drainage plan and details, utility plans (water, sewer, and gas), and erosion control plans.
