Overview:

The City of Corona is reconstructing the existing modified diamond interchange to a partial cloverleaf interchange. Working as a subconsultant to Jacobs, CWE was responsible for the final engineering (PS&E) for all drainage and stormwater improvements for the interchange project. The project included construction of a new overcrossing bridge for Cajalco Road, reconfiguration of all four existing ramps, and the addition of a new northbound loop on-ramp.  The reconfiguration of the northbound off-ramp required construction of a bridge over Bedford Wash. The tasks included preparation of a Storm Water Data Report, the Bedford Wash Bridge Hydraulics Report, hydrology and hydraulic studies, the drainage report, drainage plans, estimates and specifications.
