Paseo Rancho Castilla Rehabilitation
Los Angeles, CA
California State University, Los Angeles desired to improve the pavement condition of Paseo Rancho
Castilla. This road is the primary campus access road and is also used as a local bus route. CSULA
asked us to evaluate costs tradeoffs between short and long term
pavement rehabilitation in regard to the asphalt concrete pavement.
Due to university budget constraints, they decided to advance the
short-term strategy involving specific location pavement repair, slurry seal and re-striping.
Civil Works Engineers has an on-call civil engineering contract with the University.
